Julia is an enthusiastic healthy eating nerd who joined Community Health Ambassadors after obtaining her diploma in Dietetics (level 4 equivalent) with the IES Federica Montseny, in Valencia, Spain. As part of her studies, she has spent three months specialised training in a Public Health Centre, while coordinating with doctors and nurses to provide the best service to the patients.
She has a BA in pedagogy, and as a Community Health Ambassador she is using her nutritional and the psychological knowledge to educate the public on healthy eating.
She has extensive experience working in a customer-oriented, public-facing capacity. She also volunteers with The Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel.
I believe that knowledge is power, the more you learn the freer you will be. By engaging people, listening to them and offering the information and resources they require, we are making possible positive changes towards healthier life styles. Helping people to understand how to improve their health and offering them the support of the community, makes the challenge a lot easier.
She speaks English and Spanish
